Malkoff Devices 1 CR123 Hyper Throw V2 Head to fit Surefire E series lights and Incandescent M300 Scout lights.  The head is constructed of 6061 T6 aluminum and Type III Hard Black Anodized. This design utilizes a TIR Optic for a smooth combo beam with good throw and some spill. The Lux at 1 meter (candela) is approximately 18,000. It is an outstanding short to medium range spotter. The output is approximately 400 measured out the front lumens.  

This head was designed for rugged service from the ground up. It is fully potted to stand up to rough service and recoil. This item is Covered by Our Lifetime Warranty.

The input voltage is 2 to 3.2 volts. It was designed for use with a single primary 3v CR123 battery. It requires 2.8 volts for full output. This will not support RCR123 (rechargeable Li-ion) batteries. The runtime on one CR123 battery is approximately 45-60 minutes. It will easily illuminate objects at 350+ feet and will blind opponents within a 150 foot radius. The LED is cool white with approximately 5500K CCT.  The exact model of LED is a Trade Secret. 

If You Hunt Predators at 75 - 100+ Yards, this is the Head for you!  

Our replacement head requires that the threads on your body be bare metal.  Some of the earlier Surefire bodies did not have bare threads.  If this is the case with your body, you will need to clean the anodize off of the threads.

Please Note that in Weapon Applications the Head Should be Placed Behind the Muzzle to Minimize Powder Burns on the Lens.  The Lens is Replaceable if Necessary.  

This head is protected against reverse polarity.
